DirectorsLabChicago offers environments in which emerging and established stage directors from Chicago and around the world are able to consider, challenge, and engage in both the traditional and contemporary aspects of their craft while creating opportunities for educating the public in the art of stage direction. In addition to smaller events throughout the year, this culminates in a weeklong lab in which directors in varying stages of their career participate in panels, workshops, and discussions surround a single theme. This year’s theme is “In the Room.”

Daniella is a member of the Steering Committee for DirectorsLabChicago and has been hard at work curating and scheduling various aspects of this year’s lab.
